Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 1, 2026
At HabitTracker, we believe your habits are a private part of your personal journey. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your information with a focus on maximum transparency and user control.
Local Storage: HabitTracker uses an on-device Room database to store your habits and logs. This data is processed locally to provide fast, offline-first performance.
Cloud Synchronization: We use Supabase (PostgreSQL) for cross-device synchronization. This is an opt-in feature that stores your habit configurations and completion logs on secure servers.
Data Export: You can export your habit history at any time in CSV or JSON format. This export is generated locally on your device.
We implement Row Level Security (RLS) at the database level. This technical safeguard ensures that even at the infrastructure layer, your data is isolated and can only be accessed by your authenticated account.
To maintain app stability and improve user experience, we utilize:

The app requires the following permissions for its core functionality:
You have full control over your data. You can delete individual habits or your entire account directly from the app settings. Account deletion triggers a cascade delete on our servers, immediately and permanently removing all your habits and logs from Supabase.
